Since 1998, Roger K. Adams and Adams Law, LLC, has been helping clients in the Denver Metro and surrounding areas.

Who We Are
Roger K. Adams
Lead Counsel, Owner
Mr. Adams is an experienced and highly trained attorney and counselor at law who has deep roots in Colorado. Mr. Adams received his law degree (J.D.) from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Mr. Adams prepares every case as if it will go to trial, in a thoughtful, thorough manner. Since before law school, Mr. Adams has been an advocate on behalf of individuals and businesses. He has a knack for relating to people, and the skills necessary to fairly represent his clients in Colorado and U.S. District Court. During law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Mr. Adams won the first moot court competition he entered. He then participated in– and assisted in the administration of similar competitions throughout his legal studies. Mr. Adams was the recipient of numerous academic awards in law school, including the American Jurisprudence Award in Advanced Torts and a Citation for Exemplary Service from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Note that Adams Law has worked with more than two dozen law clerks in the past dozen years. The law clerks have contributed heavily to our clients’ successes generally handling lawyer-type and paralegal-type work as well as administrative and marketing functions with the business. Mr. Adams also mentors law students through both the Colorado Supreme Court Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program (CAMP), the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, the University of Colorado Law School, and law schools across the United States such as Loyola University in Chicago as well as law schools in Azerbaijan, France, Thailand, and other countries.

Personal
Mr. Adams lives in Denver where he enjoys working hard and playing hard. He volunteers in his neighborhood associations, and with Team Samaritan House (TSH) bicycle team that has raised $1M for the Samaritan House homeless shelter and other shelters operated in Denver and the front range. He also regularly volunteers his legal counsel to residents of Samaritan House through the Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic (JAMLAC), a Christian-based group of lawyers who take a Christian approach to legal services through continuing legal education on Christian approaches to legal assistance. Through Team Samaritan House, he rides about 4,000 miles per year and has completed five Ride the Rockies bicycle rides, each being 6-7 day bike rides covering generally about 420 miles and 30,000 vertical feet of mountain climbing in Colorado. He also mentors law students through both the Colorado Supreme Court Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program (CAMP), the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, the University of Colorado Law School, and law schools across the United States such as Loyola University in Chicago as well as law schools in Azerbaijan, France, Thailand and other countries.
Antonia Wright
Office Manager and Paralegal
Antonia is the Office Manager and Paralegal at Adams Law. Antonia graduated in 2022 with an Associates in Paralegal Studies from Trident Technical College and currently pursuing a AAS in Criminal Justice. Antonia helps keep the office running smoothly while she contributes to our client’s successes by assisting in court filings with the various courts in which we work, from federal courts to state and probate courts. She helps orchestrate the myriad tasks performed to complete forms for filing, to respond to telephone queries, to help manage payroll and human resources needs, and to coordinate with attorney Adams and his various co-counsel and experts on the wide variety of client issues we manage.
Personal
She moved here from South Carolina to experience all the beauty and activities CO has to offer. When she is not at work she enjoys reading self-help and mystery novels, working on DIY projects, and taking trips in her travel trailer with her two dogs to hike and camp.
Jordan Thomas
Law Clerk
Jordan is a former law clerk who worked with Adams Law between 2021 and 2023. When with Adams Law, Jordan assisted the firm in drafting motions, pleadings, and demand letters for a variety of issues, including complex bankruptcies and personal injury matters. Jordan also drafted estate paperwork such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. When not drafting pleadings or estate paperwork, Jordan performed research for the firm. Jordan’s favorite area of practice is bankruptcy, and she enjoys dealing with the more complex bankruptcy cases.
Personal
Jordan graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.A. in Political Science in 2018. She currently attends the University of Denver’s Sturm, College of Law where she is working towards getting her Juris Doctorate and LLM in International Business Transactions. Jordan participates in the Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration competition, and enjoys learning about international issues. When she’s not at work or school, Jordan enjoys gothic literature, anime, and attending Mammoth Lacrosse games.
Hannah Kelly
Law Clerk
Hannah is a law clerk and third year law student at the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. Hannah assists the firm in writing legal memos, drafting motions, pleadings, and letters for a variety of issues including bankruptcies, personal injury matters, and other of our clients’ money disputes. Hannah also drafts estate planning paperwork such as wills and powers of attorney. Hannah’s favorite areas of practice within the firm are bankruptcy and estate planning.
Hannah graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Hannah decided to move to Colorado to attend University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Her favorite classes so far have been property law and contract law. She’s a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Denver Bar Association. When she’s not working as a law clerk she likes to travel, go on hikes, and snowboard.
Mckaeli Garner
Former Law Clerk
McKaeli Garner was a Law Clerk with Adams Law. Her roles included assisting attorney Adams and other staff to assist clients with their legal issues. From drafting wills and Powers of Attorney for estate planning clients and coordinating case files in Probate Court to assisting clients who have suffered from emotional distress at the hands of unscrupulous business owners as well as assisting in editing of injury lawsuits with drafting court documents including Summons to Answer, Ms. Garner handled client issues and contributed positively with aplomb.
McKaeli worked for Adams Law from 2020 to 2021.
Personal
When not working on cases, McKaeli enjoys painting, practicing yoga, and reading science fiction novels.
Joel Crank
Former Law Clerk
Joel Crank was a Law Clerk with Adams Law. Joel supported attorney Adams and other staff to assist clients with their legal issues. He frequently researched issues related to discharging client debts, personal injury cases, torts, breach of contract, and landlord-tenant disputes involving eviction and security deposits. He also assisted in drafting motions and pleadings for attorney Adams. Joel has proven himself to be a valuable contributor to Adams Law clients’ cases.
Joel worked for Adams Law in 2020.
Personal
Joel is a life-long Colorado (almost) native who grew up in Colorado Springs and now attends the University of Colorado Law School. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance with cum laude distinction at Colorado State University where he concurrently worked in the estate planning industry. In his free time, Joel enjoys reading, playing hockey, and being in nature.
Sean Wimbush
Former Law Clerk
Sean Wimbush was a Law Clerk with Adams Law. Sean contributed to the firm and assists its clients with their legal issues. He researched issues including breaches of contract, torts, and bankruptcy procedures to help the firm provide its clients with strategic advice.
Sean worked for Adams Law 2020 to 2021.
Personal
After growing up in Texas and attending the University of Texas at Austin, Sean moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. In his free time, Sean enjoys running, listening to music, and reading fiction.
